I said it's not that light.
- Rims are 320g claimed, Podium MMX are <290 actual.
- Stems and seatposts are heavier and more expensive than New Ultimate (for example)
- Bars are silly money and still heavier than Mt Zoom (again, for example)
- Brakes only really achieve weight because they come with very light rotors and hardware, but I'll admit they are light
- Forks are heavier than DT, as well as being an unknown quantity0 -

fair enough, Its a customers bike i'm building, he wants it to come out under 20lbs but after a quick look at weight wieners I was pretty surprised how light some bikes are.0

Weight Weenies*
Aah rigid, that's cheating!
You've not lined your tyre logos up - surely that's the basics for a shop?! We used to get a right rollocking if they didn't line up, looks sloppy. Ditto headset spacer logos etc.0 -

That's alright then :-)0

And have you weighed it?0

There seems to be a dip in the workshop floor under the rear wheel?
A rigid fork is saving at least 800g versus a suspension one so you have a long way to go for the worlds lightest!
