Tried a Cube Acid 26er that was 18 inch frame, and seemed to fit perfectly.
HOWEVER the Cube 29ers are either smaller (17) or bigger (19).
Ive just sat on each, and struggling to understand which would be better.
Yes - on the smaller one, im more upright....and on the larger one more stretched out.

The shop said it was totally subjective....maybe smaller if i was doing tech rides mainly.....and the the 19 if maninly on paths and roads.
Your feedback would be ace!
PS
I have a poor and very basic 12yr old Giant 26er at home thats 17.5 that to be honest does feel a little cramped.

The shop is right, is subjective: but can be hard to tell without a ride.
You don't want your arms to be locked out at the elbows ie over stretching. You don't want to be cramped up either. The larger frame will stretch you put more which can give a more efficient riding position, whilst the smaller frame will sit you a little further back, and may feel more comfortable and easier to ride.0 -
Why not just buy the 26er ??
