Hi,

I am thinking about a new set of training wheels for my bike. I have been looking at the Easton EA50 Aero. Does anyone have any experience of these wheels? What are the like?

I am no lightweight, at about 91Kgs. Would these wheels be ok?

I guess I am looking at around the £300/£350 mark. What else should I be looking at?

Thanks
Paul

    Aero wheels for training?

Nara... At your weight I would get a set of hand builds... 200 pounds give or take

Well they at mostly for training. I have entered 2 races this year but don't really have a budget for two sets of wheels. Also I like the look of them

What handbuilts should I be looking at?

Have a look at these: Hope wheels

A few reviews I've seen suggest they are good for a heavier rider.

ea50 have a bit of a reputation for breaking spokes and being flexy.
