There's been some noise (not too loud) that there will be a big 'Whistler' style gravity park opening up near Merthyr Tydfil some time late next year?
First off, did I miss a mountain like as big as Whistler like in the valleys like or did I blink.
Anyone been there to see the potential? It seems a good idea and if Sorrell is in on it, it should be good.
Have they started any work on it?
I'm surprised if its happening that there seems to be no hype yet. Any news? :roll:

    You should check out www.cognation.co.uk .they run the south Wales sites and I believe that 'bike park Wales' won the tender for gethin. You can find them on Facebook. But no news yet on their plans, but everyone is hoping for chairlifts :-)

    you've missed the hype :lol: there was a bit of a fanfare when they announced it was going ahead but now we're all just waiting to see what happens

    I live in merthye and can confirm work has been going on for a while now and no one is aloud in the forestry. hope this helps.

    Still will be an uplift service not a chair lift which is a shame, lost of wating with uplifts in comparison to a chair.
