Rose phsyco path 5 or 6 or Boardman HT pro C

I am after a new mountain bike after converting from road riding.
Cant make my mind up which hardtail to go for, its a toss up between a Rose phsyco 5 or 6 or a Boardman HT pro C ??? Which should I go for ? The Boardman has 120mm forks, is that ok for XC and marathon racing ? at these prices does it mean the carbon frames are not up to much ?
According to the rose sizing system I should go for a large. I am 5,11 tall, 35 in side leg. On past experiences with buying bikes on line (Canyon) the sizing system wasn´t very accurate. What size should i go for ?
