Went to restock on Assos cream at the weekend and horrified to see they are now looking for £15 for a jar.

This seems to have jumped a huge amount in a very small period of time. Someone's making a serious killing!

Why do people always say Sudocreme is just as good? It isn't - Sudocreme is good at healing chaffing but chamois cream prevents it.

+1 for this, works just as well as Assos IMO.

I am using the PBK stuff at the minute. Made by Morgan Blue and very similar to Assos (even in a VERY similar jar).

But do you know what, I still prefer Savlon, its old school but work for me. I always go back to it after trying alternatives although they all seem to work OK. The only one that didn't was the stuff from ZipVit (Oelium, or something like that), it actually made me more sore than not using it!

My definition of something being a rip-off is when it's the only choice you have and they are taking advantage of that. Assos cream doesn't fall into this category, I use udderly smooth too.

+1 you shouldn't have to pay rub slimy gear all over your gonads.
