Mornin' ear-touchers
A hive of activity in CC-land but no monring thread. Then I shall do the honours and kick the week off!
Bloody great weekend followed by the usuall work m'eh followed by the usual home m'eh. Actually, I have a bit of writing to do tonight which should wile away an hour or two. ...and I might be getting sent to Paris for two days next week for a work thing. ...which I largely consider a 'Win', too. So, actually, it's a bit less m'eh than it could be. Hope everyone else is likewise less m'eh than usual.
Ride in today was about 0. WTF, it's nearly summer!
Onwards! To coffee! .....warm coffee.....

Paris is always a win!
I should be going to work now, the long drive to Norwich then a helicopter to some platform for 2 weeks lazing about, but I've been told to sit at home on full pay while they sort out where the platform is going to be put.
Life is too hard sometimes.I'm going to blow the bank on a new build ( within reason ) NOW DONE!!

Morning bum bandits
Well what can I say? It's Monday. Now normally this is a bad thing because of uni meh and the like, today however it's a good thing, I'll be off to Cannock to play downhill, it will mean it will hopefully be fairly quiet which is nice, lots of people is annoying and irritiating. Was up there last Thursday, saw 3 people the whole day when out on the trails, 2 of whom had very nice bikes for me to perve on.

cruddites,
Bit of an odd weekend, on paper it should of been good, in reality kinda poop.
getting an old hat at these kiddies partys now, and not even any decent milf to take my attention away from the noise. Had a couple of beers saturday night, and i have to say i'm going to give it up as still today i feel like a over stretched baloon thats about to pop. Wifey blew her top on saturday night and was way over the mark, no idea why or what it was all about, then to piss her off some more i got up early to watch the GP over my brothers on mothers day.
Mothers day trip to the Fish resturant was also a fail as thety got my mums meal wrong, then by the time they got the right meal out, she didnt want it
last night i fell asleep while watching a film with wifey, who decided to reset herself back to normal :?
Anywhoo moving offices today and should find out this week about my job and what it should be and then the process of applying for my own job again :?0 -
morning all
it must be something with women this weekend, mine was being a bit of an idiot, then burst into tears and blamed me for shouting at her when she pulled out into the middle of a roundabout with loads of cars coming!!!!
but anyway, i had a good weekend...did i mention wales won the grand slam? went for a nice ride last night and this week is only a 4 day week as i'm off to holland on friday..result. and as it's a nice day i reckon i'll go for a ride after work tonight instead of going to the gym:D

'ning lime lovers
In a great mood today, the sun is out, and I no longer feel like death having caught up on some sleep.
Work today, yoga later, general faffing around at home after.
The Sex Pest called me 'baby' last night... I think he might be heading ditchward very soon.
Hoping to be heading to Llandegla on Friday night for to ride on Saturday.
After watching the DH yesterday I'm now hankering for a DH rig. Add to that that I want a tablet computer, probably of the fruity variety, and a Reverb seatpost, along with the cost of the summer Morzine trip...think I better start saving!
Have a great day everyone!
Kisses

Morning Pervs and Pervettes,
Got Mothers day card to my Mum on time - win. But then only remembered yesterday that it was her birthday today - fail. Cue emergeny trip to WH Smiths this morning to pick a vaguely suitable card and post it off to make it look like a just missed last post on the weekend
Next it's time to negitaite with the decorators over their slightly 'top heavy' quote  Later on will be a trip up to London to sit in the sunshine in Regents park and maybe have a quick wander round the zoo, then have a few beers & pizza with my old work lot.
BTW has anyone noticed that the smileys are working again for the first time in months?"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Greetings Programs,
Bit tired today had one of those nights where you keep waking up but otherwise ok.
Managed to get out on the bike before visiting the mother yesterday even though it hailed on me pretty hard... Still struggling with the fitness from being a lazy loser but pulling it together
Get to watch the DH tonight as missed it last yesterday due to obvious supplying flowers to the mother...
Clock change this weekend woop bring on the light nights and warm days woop0 -
It's Monday again already? How the hell did that happen.
Bit tired today. We got smashed at work yesterday with everyone taking the old dear out for lunch and thus several recuperatory theakston's lightfoot were downed in the evening.
Suns shining and fully minioned up for the day so an early skive could be in order. Just need to find some bacomn first....0 -
Morning Knuckle Draggers,
Stressed as feck already. My fellow developer in work quit last Friday, and now all his shite is landing on my desk. In the space of a weekend I've gone from a support developer to the companies one and only lead web developer, with no training involved. I think this may be a good time to discuss a pay rise. I have the feeling it's going to be a long, stressful week!

Morning Scuttlers
12 hours in work today, although I'm taking a break in the middle to o and lift heavy things in an attempt to get fitter. 1 hours is also because I'm only doing 4 days so I can go drinking on Friday with some old chums coming up from Wolves.
Just browsing through the OU brochure, looking seriously at starting a degree again, possibly in History, its fun to learn you see.

Morning gender benders!
I have another week off Today I shall be trying to do work to my car, as I believe it's falling apart on me, which isn't good (Anybody know anything about Astras?)
Still in the period of Lent, so can't eat anything that I fancy eating sadly. I should probably get up and have some breakfast really.

All you need now is access to a woodchipper and it's game-on!0 -
Big off earlier, somehow dropped chain on one of my last pedal strokes to get some pace on before I went off the end of some woodwork... consequently there's a very unbalanced me going over the front of the bike at the end of this woodwork looking at a nice drop to a very hard floor, managed to avoid going straight OTB and landed with my feet down each side of the bike, unfortunately too much forwards momentum resulted in me somersaulting, landing on my head, snapping the go pro mount and hurting my coccycx.
I went back and did it again though 8) (the track, not the crash )
Just ordered a full guide for the top, sod the bashguard, and a new mount.
Might see if I can sort a video out later.0 -

been messing around with my brothe's road bike most the evening trying to fit his integrated headset and inserting the internal cables. turns out the headset was missing some special washer that goes inside the frame. oh well, pretty much sorted now just needs final adjustments tommorow0
