I've got Hope Mono Mini's and the front is currently Post Mount and the Rear is IS Mount, my Fork is Post Mount and the frame is IS Mount and the rotors are 185mm Front and Rear. I'm looking to put the Rear Hope IS Mount Caliper on the Post Mount Forks and the Front Hope Post Mount Caliper on the Rear IS Mount. So I need Front Post - IS 185mm, Rear IS - Post 185mm but I don't know which mounts would be suitable, is Post - IS and IS - Post the same thing? The reason for this is so it will give me better adjustability as I can slide the Post Mounts to align the pads, because my rear IS mounted Caliper is givng me brake drag. So which mounts will I need for the front and rear?
Thanks in advance
Liam

Let's clear this up:
You have a PM mount fork, IS mount frame, and what brakes?0 -
Caliper numbers?
Pics?
Are they both post mount but one uses an adaptr to IS mount or........
If th rear is pure IS. Mount then shim I out as per the manual. And also gt th mounts faced.
But if the rear is IS then you will need a post to 165 IS adaptor if the fork is a standard 6" post mount. Hard to find but KCNC do it. Clee cycles.
For the new rear you will need a IS to 185 rear post adaptor.
And ableed kit."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Right simples now.
Post to IS front 185mm
And IS to post rear 185mm
And your current front. Adaptor is fitted upside down."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

There are plenty of Post to IS Front mounts that I can find but I am struggling to find an IS to Post rear mount any ideas as to where I can source one of those from, I know Superstar components do a varied range and their Type 3 should fit the bill for the Front but I can't find a rear mount anywhere. Or can I simply use a Post - IS Rear? and turn it upside down or is that just a ridiculous idea?

So for the rear with post mount caliper you want a number 4
And the front http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=13735
And lose the A2Z adaptor."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
