Hallo...
So after The LionHeart today in Wiltshire, I'm feeling as if I want to do a fair few sportives this season! Could you guys please suggest to me sportives that are happening that would be easy to get to by train? Sadly I don't have a car here in London.
Aiming for rides that are above 60 miles.
Cheers!
(Obviously I've spotted London Phoenix CC Easter Classic!)

Plenty more on the BC calendar http://www.britishcycling.org.uk/events (filter for England, South East, Road Cyclo-Sportive) and from - to dates, you'll always get some. It's also worth signing up to newsletters of some of the bigger organisers (Evans Ride-it, Kilo to Go etc).0 -
Dulwich Dynamo do a great one towards the end of the year called Ride of the falling leaves. About 65-70 miles starting from Herne Hill velodrome.
There's this which is this weekend, starting at box hill. http://www.cyclosport.org/event/25-Mar-2012/UK/hotchillee-sportive.html
And http://www.srs-events.cc/ do some great, well organised events but a little further out of london, but accessible by train.
A couple of mates have been in your situation and clubbed together and hired a van, chucked the bikes in the back a drove to whether they needed too!Up: Wilier Mortirolo
Down: Orange Patriot0 -
