Hello, newbie to the forums here.

I have recently bought a new bike and my friend has given me his cycle computer (the ARC013 RSP), the problem is I have absolutely no idea how to work it. I have managed to enter my wheel diameter details successfully according to Sheldon Brown's table (http://sheldonbrown.com/cyclecomp_f.html). After I have entered that info the option to change from km to m appears, which I am fine with, then a large "2" and a small "3" over "km/hr" comes up and I have no idea what it means. Under that is the number "080" which I again have absolutely no clue about. Pressing menu button again brings up a large "60" with a small "0" beside it and a spanner in the lower left corner.

Now I don't expect anyone to be able to describe to me what all that means from that description, but I am hoping someone with the same model will either have a link to the manual or be willing to walk me through the process. I have already asked for the manual from my friend to no avail. I have also googled "ARC013 RSP manual" with no success.

Thanks for taking the time to read that wall of text :p, I hope you can give me a hand.

i'm guessing here cos i dont know the computer - but on most you can set it for different bikes, so the 2 and 3 might be for bike 2 and 3. The 60 spanner if its like other comps is the distance you set when you want to give your bike a 'service' - it starts flashingwhen you're near the total distance but 60 is stupidly small, and on most comps i've had the figure is 4 digits long..

just googled it and its 20 function - so one of them might the countdown to armageddon - hehe.

    Try this link - http://www.sigmasport.com/en/service_ce ... kecomputer

As I assume its a Raleigh cycle computer? Which someone told me were rebadged from Sigma cycle computers who do have all their old manuals online (as per above link)

Thanks for the replies and yes it is a Raleigh computer, this one to be exact:

I took a look at the models on the Sigma website and I couldn't find anything with a matching description, good idea though. It may be worth giving customer services a call and see if they'll email me a manual. I would email them but I can't find the address. If anyone can give me any more help it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks!
