Headset seated correctly?

Had my headset fitted at my LBS and noticed this once it was done
its the same for the bottom cups. Basically because the Hope headset has a tapered end and my head tube doesn't, it sits like this.
Does anyone think this will become a problem? I'm concerned that over time with pressure from impacts this may damage the inside of the headtube at the facing ends.

Looks odd but hard to get wrong with the right tool."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

As above, I'd be unhappy if I didn't double check the right headset was fitted with the LBS themselves.0

This is the headset that was fitted

As you can see after the part thats inserted first (top or bottom cup) it hits a flat part, then the tapered bit starts.
Search 'ellsworth hope headset' on google images brings up the following pages

Looking at these it seems like the norm but there's nothing to suggest that these have been fitted incorrectly as well.0 -
looking at those images. 2 are Chris King headsets and one displays no image0

yeah, after search 'ellsworth hope headset' I searched just 'ellsworth headset' as there was more pictures shown. What I was trying to show was that when fitted, it looks the same as how mine is fitted.
looking at the current hope range this is the only conventional one they do and there all the same.
looking at the chris king page (just for reference) these also have a tapered bit similar to the hope's so I can only assume it would be the same if one of these were fitted.
The Northern Monkey - can you suggest any that I should look into?0 -
The Hope set has a clear ledge after the taper, so must be supported on the headtube.
Cane Creek and FSA do great headsets for a lot less.0 -
I guess the thickness of the head tube metal must be quite big then so it sits on the ledge.
I only paid £30 for the headset so I guess its not much more (if any) then a FSA/Cane Creek.0
