As above really. Preferably not too much more than 100 pounds. It's for 26 inch mountain bike wheels.

£17 off CRC this weekend when you spend £100 too...
  • Cool, saw that earlier, but was a bit put off by the 2/5 stars. Is this just people who don't know how to use it?

I've used an old version of this and it's great: http://www.bike-discount.de/shop/a48319 ... html?lg=en

Looks like a reasonable price, too. I've been able to get the FT-1 stand on its own supplied for £80 from my LBS.

Buy Roger Musson's ebook (Wheelpro) and make your own? I did and it's spot on.

Excessively overpriced bits of kit (chunk of metal) in my opinion, but all truing stands seem to be this kind of price. That's why truing remains a nice profitable business I guess.

Use a frame ( I use my steel retro frame so it doesn't take my main bikes out of commision), blue tack a rule across the stays knowing the measurement you need for each rim, tweak it so it just touches at the highest point (largest radius) and adjust from there.
