is cannock chase open to public on sunday 18th?

Hi,

Saw this on cannock chase blog about a XC event tomorrow.

does this mean its open to general public or not?

    Yeah, its not using the dog or monkey, but does cross them so just be aware at crossings, there will be marshalls apparently but always worth keeping you're wits about you.

    It's goting to be a busy weekend over there this weekend. It's pissing down now too.

    ok thanks. yeah i know its chucking down, gonna be boggy. Will have to see what weather like in the morning.

    i went today i would say the tracks around the start area will be most effected.
