Hi guys,

Would you say the chain and rear gears would need changing on this setup:
edit: I am referring to the small spots of rust on the gears and chain.

Does the gearing/chaion not look worn?
Would there be any problems witht he small spots of rust on there or is that to be expected?

That's one of the cleanest rear derailleurs I've ever seen quite honestly. Did someone tell you the cassette and chain needs replacing? The teeth on the sprocket look pretty good too ....

No, just me wondering if the gears were ok. Me being a newbie, I was just wondering if the small rust spots were a sign that the cassette was on its way out or a sign of neglect. i.e. no lube/oil = rust forming.

Im still learning but thanks for the replies guys! :D
