On E4 weekday evenings. Excellent US sitcom about 2 nerdy physicists their nerdy mates and the girl next door.

it is excellent. i had an autistic mate who was into comics, star wars, dungeons and dragons and I can see him in all of the characters. needs a bigger audience.
The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns
momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself.

If you want a big bang, don't choose a commuter. That's my theory.

As someone studying mech eng at uni...I can see not only my friends in it, but also at times bits of myself

Having said that, it's one of my favourite shows.

  • +1 on its excellence. I can see bits of a few mates and of me in Sheldon. They could do a better job developing Howard and Raj though.
Swim. Bike. Run. Yeah. That's what I used to do.

I watch it with my 2 sons who are both Aspergers. My 13yr old, whilst watching it recently remarked that Sheldon was an "Uber-geek", whilst he was sorting his brothers Yu-Gi-oh cards into alphabetical and numerical order, setting up my new phone and watching TV simutaneously. Irony is lost on him. :D

I have been mistaken for / told I look like Sheldon several times when in the US, almost exclusively by teenage girls with teeth-braces and the like!

Not sure this is a good thing.

Commuters think a big bang is a tyre blowout, bless 'em.
