Got the all clear from the consultant at my post carpal tunnel release op checkup yesterday, so I have the go ahead to start riding again - fantastic
I'll have to be a bit careful for a while until I get the strength back in my hand and arm. Not a massive ammount of use for 6 weeks so the muscles have got a bit small/weak!
Dilemna now is do I build up the Trance X frame over the weekend (which involves dismantling the Stumpjumper), or do I do that next week and ride the Stumpy at the weekend? Depends on the weather I guess, but leaning towards getting a gentle ride in Saturday or Sunday then do the new bike next week.

Gentle ride on the stumpy as a goodbye to a old steed and one ride into gaining strength for your new ride, defo the way I would do it.
Take it easy and give us an update on how the arm was.0 -

Yeah, I reckon you are right. It does mean that I have to clean the bits afterwards befreo dismantling though
I hope the arm/hand will now let me right longer than an hour before losing all grip, fingers corssed! (pardon the pun)
So, 20Kg of weight to lose now, me not the bike0 -

Come and join the Crudcatcher distance challenge on Endomondo. I'm using it to help with recovery from surgery alongside a couple of other challenges. Great motivational tool to get out when you don't feel like it, or take the long way round just to plug in another couple of miles.0
