    What is bespoke about a Venge? Handmade steel frame maybe, but that would be too tasteful for a City banker.

    Boonen's just been given one for M-SR

    So far, from Saturday onwards anyway, only him and Cavendish will have ridden them in the pro-peloton.

    It's basically a stiff aero bike which McLaren ' helped' develop.

    So basically it's the closest thing to a super-car for a bike. (from a marketing perspective anyway).

    Presumably that explains the love it gets from those with a propensity to conspicuous consumption.
