Cameron discussing things with Obama.

"The UK's PM also said that the two men had discussed releasing the strategic oil reserves because "we are all facing the problem of higher oil prices".
Although they had not reached a decision he said they both wanted to "do what we can to help" families facing economic tough times."

Why not simply reduce the fuel tax then? Muppet!

In case anyone chips in with the Government needing the money during the current crisis, they are already reaping extra money from the rise in oil prices as it is.
Oh, and if there is trouble in the Middle East and Russia was to cut out supplies to Europe we very well might require these reserves.
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

    Why not stop printing money.

The value of oil is not increasing, the value of money is decreasing.

    Or various other possible solutions.
I get the feeling that there may be an underlying reason for choosing this possible option.
Then again, it's probably just all talk....... :|
