Raceface self removing crank

Hey everyone again
Been going crazy with my bike over the last couple of days as I'm swapping frames..
I've got some raceface self removing cranks on my old frame. (I didn't know that they were self removing when I tried yesterday with the crank extractor, and failed due to it being to big to go in the crank.) (?)
Anyway I've never done it before and has anyone got any tutorials or tips before I try and use the self removing cap/bolt thingy
Help appreciated because I'm a noob learning
Ps no doubt I'll be posting back later saying that I've failed!

just undo the bolt."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

What and it will just come off ? Should i use a rubber hammer or will that damage it?0

it is called self extracting for a reason. you just undo the bolt and it extracts the crank.
but if you have taken it to bits it will do nothing."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
