I currently have this frame and just in the process of finishing it off

Just wondering does it matter whether its conventional or top swing front mech which is attached to it? I mean the top swing is cheaper but conventional looks a lot nicer!

Often only one version will fit.

Use the same type as currently fitted.

  • Yep thought so.... Just the other XT one looked more appealing ;)

    Thanks

It says top swing on that link you posted!

Often conventional or top swing can be used on bikes with a more traditional frame design (straight, round, top tube) - but this is not traditional!

In the pic it looks like a direct mount to me, but if it says top swing, go top swing...
