Hi folks,
I have, languishing in my shed a 1992 orange prestige which hasnt been ridden for about 3 years. Ive been doing mainly road cycling but i really want to ressurect this old bike. The frame is still in excelent condition.
I've been looking for a replacement fork (it has a 1" steerer) and had no luck. Several bike shops have been unable to help. I'd prefer to keep the for rigid but Im open to suggestions of short travel suspension if uts reasonably light weight.
So any ideas what forks are available/suitable or maybe where i night look.
Thanks
PJ

Is the headset on the frame? If so is it threaded or threadless? Do you run Vs or cantis?0

Thanks for fast reply!
The headset is the original threaded type. Though i would happily swap it and the stem if it meant getting the right fork.
The breaks are diacompe cantis that i fitted to replace the original shimano dx. Again, id change these if need be.
Thanks again.0 -
Reason I ask about brakes is that cantis require a sus fork to have a hanger integrated to the fork lowers.
These should do te trick cheaply:

Though check steerer length.0 -
Thanks for that. Had not considered ebay!
Ofc have to spray them black to match ;-)0
