Natural Singletrack near Manchester
Does anyone know of any rides which have lots of singletrack which are near train stations easily reachable from Manchester?
We have done around Rivington, around Littleborough and Todmorden and around Hayfield so were looking for something new.
I was wondering if anybody knew of any rides around Glossop which we could do from the station?
Cheers

Some cracking Byways et al around Glossop, The Good Mountain Biking Guide has a few tracks listed for that neck of the woods. For my money, I'd try and get to Edale - you can make some cracking loops that'll include Roych Clough from there. Worth the effort. How would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.

Hebden Bridge is raved about, not sure what it's like though! what about train into Rochdale then doing the pennine bridleway / mary towny loop.0

Found a couple. The second has some mighty bits in it:

This website has a 'routes and riding section', that links to Bikely. Have a look in there. How would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.
