Afternoon all,

Just a quick post to show my new wheels/tyres on my Fuji Team 1.0

After reading around i decided to go for Planet X AL30 wheels with michelin pro race 3 tyres.

Much better than the standard Alex rims that came with the bike, both aesthetically and performance wise.

Up next: either black bars/stem/seatpost/seat/bar tape or new white saddle and new tape as they are looking a little tired...

Not the best pic!

In the background is my single speed trainer/do it all bike.

Lovely bike! I'm also thinking about getting the AL30's. Are they the standard decals on the wheels? The pictures on the planet x wesite don't look as nice as those.

The decals are the new version i believe, was really impressed with them compared to the pictures online.

The wheels themselves feel great and from my very limited knowledge felt like they were well built. Recommended from me!

Nice choice on the wheels, looks great. I know just how much difference they make over the original ALX rims :o

If you want to know how different the bike will look with black bars/saddle etc have a look at my Fuji team 1.0

Nice bikes you and jonni3 have there :)

It's funny I was considering either the Planet X AL30's or alternatively the Halo Mercury's - only problem with the latter being most places seem to be out of stock..

Are the graphics on the AL30's just stickers, or clear coated over? Not sure they'd suit my bike is all :)

Thanks guys, the logos on the wheels are just stickers - they should peel off easily enough :)

    Cheers jonni3 - nice bike!
