Had today down for a good run out. I'm out of bed, that's a start... but I'm seriously lacking the motivation to go for it.

Somebody help?!

I'm sat at my desk next to a smelly American (he ran into work and still hasn't had a shower, and he's a tw@7). Now I'd probably give my spleen to be out riding instead.

Thank your self lucky, MTFU and get out for a ride.

    Enjoy :D

I read something that Boardman always said which was "whatever you feel like, always put your cycling kit once"

Once you've done that, you'll feel obliged to go cycling.

If you don't then come 5 o'clock you'll be wishing you had. I'm just back to the road and I've taken to short runs... with no data.. nothing. ( my new phone is horsed ). The sense of liberation is huge.. try it :D
Why tidy the house when you can clean your bike?

Come on, the sun's almost breaking through, there's a pleasant westerly breeze, so head out on the Coupar Angus road and over to the Carse if you want easy, or up towards Glenshee if you want more of a biggy. Call in at Perth & I'll give you cake or coffee if you like :-).
Anyway, it surely beats cleaning toilets ;-)

    THANKS GUYS...

Bompington, where do you have cake and coffee? Please tell me you work at a cycle friendly cake stop... we have lost our regular stop in Balbeggie for our weekend rides. Suggestions?

Think of all the unfortunate people that will never be able to cycle and wish they could. Now think about how lucky you are to be able to, and go.

Sorry I don't, I'm a teacher! But seriously, I can always wangle a cuppa and a bite for any visitors.

I'm never that bothered about cake stops as I tend to ride solo, my favourite tea shops in the area tend to be the cafés in Blair (Dome favourite), Meigle, & Cairn o' Mhor if you're on the Carse - I don't know how cycle friendly they are though

Have / Hope you had a great ride, I'll be back in the gym at lunchtime :-(

Them stats for this year put me to shame
Unfortunately a little thing called work keeps getting in the way of things.
Relying on 6 numbers on a Saturday isn't a real plan

The vast majority of those 20km rides are commutes in and out of work... no fun.
