basically after my mates first trip to cannock chase he is after a decent full suspension bike. hes had a look on the net and has come up with the above as a possibility. whats the opinion on this? anything better for the money?

It's not too bad, good fork and shock, and the frames are generally light.
Pretty odd geometry though!
If buying mail order I'd be looking at the Canyons.0
