Hi Guys,

I have noticed that the rear disc brake lever has avery long pull and also when i am sat on the bike there is no much stopping power does this mean they need bleeding?
Thanks

Not always. You may be able to advance the pistons - remove wheel, pull lever gently to move pads closer together. Be careful, takes some judgement!

I have had the same problem a year ago. There can be three solutions to this:

The discs may be dirty or oily so it has less friction
The hydraulic fluid needs pumping up the tube so just squeezing the brake until it feels tight might do the trick (see above)
Or it means that you have air bubbles in your system which means that you need to bleed them.

I suggest the first two before you do the third
My god road cycling is scary! I'm going to keep my relaxing rides to the trails where everything is green, fast and less crazy.

Also the rear disc is 160mm i assume i can change this to 180mm with some kind of spacer.

New rotor and adaptor. Though why do you want to change? Sort out the issue you have first, it may sort all your power problems!
