I have one of these at the back of the garage and wondered what people think of them. It got sidelined a year ago when I got my Talon which was when i started MTBing a more seriously and tbh was rarely used before that, or rather was used for the odd flatish bridalway. I have traded in the Talon and now have a Trance X3 and I am loving it
That said is the Banshee any good? there are a few small spots of rust on the forks but other than that it's in reasonably good nick.

The banshee's aren't bad at what they are designed for, 5/6 years ago should look just like the current frame, they had a few issues at one point with chain stays snapping apparently 9and I have seen one, though no idea how why as it had been 'repaired' already), they are heavy, burly and mostly pretty tough, no cross country machine, the daughters BF rides a 3 year old one, hard, and has no issues, as a freeride bike, although he's now doing trail centres so has been progressively upgrading it until he can afford a full reframe, SLX brakes, X9 shifting etc etc
SimonCurrently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
