I'm primarily I am a mountain bike rider but have recently purchased a used Saracen Morzine. Currently, the bike has a slick tyres on it and I was looking to purchase something that would give me a littlel grip in moist road conditions. I have no idea what to do for! Can anyone help?

Tread has no effect on a road bike tyre; the contact patch is so tiny the risk of aquaplaning is nil.
The tyre compound and the flexibility of the casing can influence just how fast you can corner in the wet on a road bike though.

Search on here for Tyre. Dozens of threads debating the relative merits of various makes / models.

Vittoria Rubino (£10.50) or Vittoria Rubino Pro (£19.95) are pretty good. Both are available in 25mm width, giving a slightly wider, more comfortable contact patch with better traction.
