I haven't never been to Epping Forest. I only drove past once and saw quite a bit of cycling activity. I want to try to go and explore a bit. Where is the best place to park your car, safe and free would be best, thanks

Tea Hut on High Beach, plenty of parking.

Thanks Robert. Compared to Brentwood, how would you rate the tracks in Epping Forest?

    Guys

The tea hut carpark is currently having loads of work done on it so parking is very limited.

Can i suggest you an alternative? I live on the doorstep of epping forest an know it rather well :-)
If yoo park at connaught waters (rangers road, Chingford E4, i think) you can ride from there up towards the tea hut, and there is a great down hill/single track on the way back or PM me and we could meet up and il show round :-)

You need someone to show you where the best trails are.

The runs downhill are longer but so is the puff to climb up.

Plenty of technical riding if you know the place.
