Anyone been to see the Giro?

Might have the opportunity to be in Tuscany during the Giro this year, specifically the Assisi - Montecatini stage. Has anyone been? Wondering how easy it will be to rock up somewhere to watch the race...

Mention any women's racing and you'll get a chap or two who gets really angry about women's professional racing being really really slow.

To answer your questions:

1. No, I haven't.
2. It'll be easy to rock up somewhere.

I took a 3.5T motorhome to The Tour last year and managed to find someone to land it... all we planned was where we would be and which stages we would watch. In terms of getting parked up or pitched then that looks after itself.
