Got to say, watching orbit with the rather lovely Dr Helen Czerski, despite the pidgin geology, I can understand why so many women fancy Prof. Brian Cox

Unfortunately Kate humble is on for half of it and she's just boring.

    +1 :?:

However, I have no problems with Prof Brian. He presents science with great enthusiasm and if he inspires some youngsters to work in these fields that can't be a bad thing.

The older I get, the better I was.

I haven't watched the 2nd one yet but I did think the 1st was pitched at too low a level.
Many, many minutes dedicated to explaining relative speeds. I thought the driving on the equator bit was utterly pointless.I'm no expert but I would have thought people with absolutely no grasp of scientific principles wouldn't be interested in watching anyway.
A good idea for a programme but didn't quite hit the mark for me.

Screw you all I like her....

Morstar - yesterdays was better, a bit more science and a bit less Humble. The first one fell into the trap of taking so long to explain everything becasue you re visiting 5 different places in the world that one just can't remember what they re saying. It was the worst description of the Corriolis effect I ve ever heard, including the one in The Simpsons! It's at least better than the one with the Hugh bloke from the now show and mock the week, I swear that was aimed at kindergarten...

Have only watched the first one too. Bit disappointed, especially compared to the recent science stuff the bbc has been putting out.

The Origins of Us was really interesting.
    Everything by Cox worth watching.
Plus a few history type ones (science, electricity, the atom).
