Nothing posted about this - wondered if anyone was entering this year?

Me, the Husband and a friend are entering the 70mile route.
They are both seasoned riders but I'm not, hence the shorter option - Going to have to *train* hard to do this

Both routes look very nice, I suspect an elevation profile would show them both to have little flat (going to be those rides where you are going up or down the whole time, or at least it will feel like it).

Some good weather, a good training plan and some hard miles leading up to it and it will fly by. Don't be afraid to drop though if you are struggling and your fellow riders keep up too decent a pace. My advice would be to take the first 20 or 30 at a very steady rate that it well within your limits...and then snowball from there.

    Ta for the reply.

Am strangely excited by the prospect of both the training and the event itself :-)
