So I've been sitting on virtual money in my paypal account, and I'd quite like to swap it for a material object... more importantly, an Edge 500! (with HRM)

It seems currently, halfords bundle for £214, CRC for £225 (minus £10 voucher) Evans at £225.
Anyone got any decent vouchers/ money off advice?

Cheaper to buy the base unit, and the premium HRM seperately?

Help!!?

    Which bundle are you after.

Unit on its own or with both cadence and hrm?

    Handtec is probably the cheapest.

Don't handtec sell off re-con stuff under the impression that it's new?
That's what the reviews on google seem to suggest!

No. They clearly state when something is a reconditioned unit - that's what 'NoH' means.
    More problems but still living....

    Cheers amaferanga

I noticed the NoH items, figured they kept them seperate...
Guess it's just stoopid consumers writing the reviews!

Has anyone purchased it from ebay? Price is 192$ (121£), but what worries me is this info: Chinese and English interface only. A few display still Show Chinese in the English interface meau, such as Heading direction...

I'm upgrading to an Edge 800 this week so will be selling my Edge 500 if you're interested.

It's only the base unit with no HRM or Cadence and has a few marks and suchlike on it so it'll be going cheap! PM me if you're interested :)

I would be interested in the 500 without HR/Cadence etc...

I just bought an edge 500 from amazon for £154 plus £35 for the premium (soft strap) HRM. This is the best deal I found. Handtec does the unit plus standard (plastic) HRM for £173 IIRC but I know and trust Amazon more and thought the premium HRM strap was worth a bit more.

halfords must have realised they were underselling. bought mine 2-3 weeks ago for £162 (£180 base less 10%) for 500 with hrm/cad.
