Hi Guys,
On sport pursuit they are offering the 1080 HD camcorder for around £150 with various different fixing options and the waterproof case, see here though you may need a login (but they do some good deels) http://http://www.sportpursuit.co.uk/veho-muvi
The question is I know they are cheaper than the go pro, but does anyone have any hands on experience with them?
I plan on using it for the board, kite surfing and biking mainly
Cheers

You should be able to get the unbadged one much cheaper than that from dealextreme.
I'd personally not bother though. I've yet to see a single piece of user-mounted footage that's as good as a chest mouonted go-pro. and even they are tedious after about 20seconds unless you've got some static shots too.0 -
They do a chest mount pack too0

Yes, but (imho) the quality just isn't there.
If you compare the sort of vids you get on youtube, vimeo etc. The footage you get over the same terrain using chest mounted go-pros (even the non-HD versions) vs chest mounted Muvi HDs just seems to be much smoother, much clearer and generally more stable with Go-pros.
The Veho is cheaper because it uses cheaper components. My opinion is that this shows in the footage you end up with.0
