Clearing out a cupboard this morning and found my old Garth Marenghi's Dark Place dvd. Decided to have another watch of the first episode and I have been in tears of laughter all morning. Absolutely brilliant.

Also found my Brasseye and The Day Today boxsets - not sure much housework will get done today...

I'd advise that you at least polish the brass moustache....

Remember a brass eye sketch where he was trying to score drugs with daft names being hilarious

Dark Place is the shizz! "Episodes were anything up to 7 minutes short. Anything without dialogue was fair game for slow motion"

"As I said last time, it won't happen again."

I bumped into iPete once on the commute and he asked why I was called 'Clarkey Cat' - "Is it because you are a cat racer?" he asked - which was flattering. The real answer is I had misspent youth watching Chris Morris comedy.

Got 'Jam' boxset too - which is darker on a whole other level.

    Jam was seriously weird!

Ben Detch has to be my fave Brasseye sketch. Classic Morris.

Dare to Believe was another classic - used to pop up very late on ITV occasionally.

We got burgled when we lived in Leytonstone and the only DVDs they stole were Jam, The Day Today and Brasseye. Bastards, but at least they had taste.
