Hi folks

Am venturing to North Wales for the very first time but am unsure what bike wold be best suited for the trip.

I have a Trek Top Fuel 9.8 100mm travel, cross country race bike
Or a Transition Covert 160mm, all mountain bike

Am interested in opinions as I can't take both with me and don't what to take the wrong one and find that it isn't suitable.

Thanks
2010 Trek Top Fuel 9.8

    Either.
Marin/Penmachno are HT territory.Mate rides the Marin on a rigid 29er.
C-Y-B easily ridable on a HT but some bits more enjoyable on a FS.
Marin/Penmachno have just the one trail each.C-Y-B has much more choice and is more Gnar in places.
    Flip a coin.
