Hi all, newbie here just getting into biking.

I am considering buying a Carrera Vulcan. Was wondering if the GT Avalanche 2.0 is better/worse??

The Rockrider looks very good, but is £140 more. The Vulcan is good, but the discount on the GT makes it look better - not sure about the forks but the 9 speed drivetrain on the GT (Alivio/SLX) is better than the 8 speed X4 on the Vulcan, and would expect the GT to be a bit, but not much, lighter.

But then again, I have a GT, so I would say that!
