Brake hose length - Giant Trance X

Hi, bit of a long shot question, but does anyone know (or could measure ) the length of the rear brake hose run on a Gaint Trance X? I'm wondering if I will need to make up a new length, the one on the Stumpjumper is quite a simple run so probably not that long. The Trance run looks (from photos) to be a bit longer but not really sure.

I'll answer that with another question, not to make fun, but to make a point. "How long is a piece of rope?"
It is very important to know the nuances and differences between too short, too long and just right. There are a lot of variables to take into account. Never copy chain, cable housing or brake hose lengths. If you have the necessary knowledge and trust yourself then determine the correct length accordingly. If not let somebody do it who can.
My serious answer to your question would be that, on any good quality factory assembled bicycle with a hydraulic brake system, the length of the rear brake hose is "exactly the length it needs to be". There are unfortunately exceptions to this way of thinking but we are trained to recognize these exceptions.canadian. mechanic. GS1 and ProTour '04 & '05. church of bikes since 1978.0 -
Yep, appreciate all that. My question was simply if anyone knew the rough length so I can determine whether I can temporarily run the hose from my Stumpjumper until I have more time to make a proper fitting hose or whether I need to make time to do this from the start. A couple of inches too long in the hose won't really be that much of an issue, but obviously if it is going to be too short or way too long then it won't work even in the short term.
The other reason for asking the question is so that I know what sort of hose length to buy as a starting point as they tend to come in 1.5m or 2m lengths, handy to know where to start. No point in buying the longer length and then having a useless piece left over.0
