Current Cannock conditions

Hi guys,

Has anyone been to Cannock in the last few days and whats the conditions like. I have never ridden there but been told that when its bad its really bad and a bike wrecker with the amount of mud. Is it worth it this weekend or leave it for a few months.

Have been round earlier this evening and it is in very good condition. Mostly dry just a bit damp in places. Forecast for tomorrow and the weekend is dry so it should be prety good.

Dont forget there will be 500+ walkers and some races on next weekend so this weekend would be a good time to go

Bike wreaker? Nah. Yeah it's a bit blown out in places but no worse than many natural trails.

Muddy? It can be, but as we haven't had that much rain of late, so it shouldn't be too bad. Was there a couple of weeks back and the wetaher had been about the same and it was good. Chances are I'll be there myself this Sunday.

Rode it this morning and its pretty decent. Only a few short muddy sections, nothing that you won't be able to manage. Still some large puddles sticking around.

Upper and Lower Cliff both in great condition and riding fast! :twisted:

Will possibly go over there tomorrow, it was fine on tuesday over there and seemed plenty of peope over last weekend too, so might be more given the positive weather reports !
