hi all i am after some advice i have 500 to spend on my 1st bike wont be doin anything too extreme just road work and weekend trail.bin to my local shop j.e.james and really like the look of cube aim disc also had a look at decathlon rockrider 8.1 which is an ugly bike to say the least.obviously i want the most for my money but i want the bike to look ok too.Any recommendations would be very welcome

The best bike for this money is the Rockrider 8.1

The Cube Aim isn't even in the same solar system, never mind planet! Is downspecced in just about every area compared to the 8.1

Also take a look at the Carrera Kraken:

Good fork with adjustable damping, nice frame, 27 speed and hydro disc brakes.
