Hi i'm looking for a decent first bike at around £200. I know 2nd hand is a good start but there doesnt seem to be any great ones in my area and i dont have a car
A previous thread here (viewtopic.php?f=40052&t=12837309&start=20) pointed to the Revolution Courier Race (http://www.edinburghbicycle.com/product ... er-race-11). This is now £250 so a bit dear for my budget. Is it worth the extra money over these bikes? Which is the best for the money? They all seem to weigh the same...

I'll be using the bike for a 2mile commute on roads and fun/leisure on the weekends
Thanks a lot.

Use the spare £100 to get a helmet, a good lock and maybe some lights.0 -

Thanks a lot that's nice a cheap
What size is preferable for a 6 foot man?
"Sizes: S (155-165cm) M (165-175 cm), L (175-185 cm). "
Large I assume? I've read its better to get a smaller bike and just raise the seat?
Also is it worth getting these thinner tyres: http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/ ... plus-10686 ?

Bikes that are sold from other country must be really costly, in our place bikes are too cheap and affordable. I think maybe because of the quality.0
