Marin vs Penmacho

I'm planning a longish weekend away in North Wales, mainly to go and do Snowdon but seeing as Betws-y-Coed is so close I thought I might as well give it a visit too.
Wont have the fitness to do them all so just wondering which is the better / more exciting ("gnarcore") trail of the 2? How do they compare to other trail centre routes - in terms of features/skill level required?
Cheers

Marin:Lots of fire road but has some good descents.Quite easy as trail centres go.Some love it others says it's the most boring man-made trail in Wales :?
Penmachno:Much more ST and feels wilder/more natural.
I personally think Penmachno is harder as it's more "pedally".You can shorten it by missing out loop2.No real descent until the end.
Neither are what you'd call "Gnarcore".
Have done both many times and will do both again but prefer C-Y-B0 -
never done the marin but been to penmach pen is ok like said very pedaly and flowy gets better towards the end..
c-y-b though is in another league,, my recomendation would be call in there,, c-y-b....www.bearbackbiking.com

Penmachno has a real wilderness feel to it. Lots of great singletrack. Not littered with descents though - only near the end are there any sustained descents. I'm all about descents but I still love Penmachno. I thought the last descents were quite tricky - but I was pretty knackered by the time I got there.
Marin was a bit dull TBH. Nice scenery but never really felt like it got going until the very end.
CYB is well worth a visit. Lots of interesting sections to piece together as you like as long as you take a map.0
