When your Camelbak gets completely muddy, can you wash it in any way?

Mine goes on a quick wash every month, just put it in a netting wash bag or somesuch as you should with anything that has straps.0 -
I just sling it in the washing machine on normal 40 wash. No probs. take the bladder out first thoughA Flock of Birds

yep, wash both my hydration packs in the Washing machine when need be...
And soak the bladders/tubes in Milton to sterilise...Always remember.... Wherever you go, there you are.

I just use floor wipes that my mum has lying about! Can't say I've smelt my camelback, but not sure I want to now!0

They do come out of the washing machine as good as new. Quite why you would want to look like a virgin every ride I do not know.0

I can't stand dirty gear, bike has to be clean and so must the gear! I even 'ave a compartmentalised tool pouch. :oops:

spankone I completely agree with ypu! I get the bike spotless and then take it off the car and it gets covered in 2 mins.... I still go home and clean it........ Maybe I'm mad.MTB or Road - They are both good!0
