Hi all,

Time to share my latest bike with you.. I change bikes quite often, having had a Mount Vision, C456, Spesh Enduro and Boardman Team FS in the past year alone.. however, I aim to keep this one for a little longer, as I'm getting married at the end of the year, so the future wife isn't up for me chopping and changing as I usually do!

This is my 2010 Marin Attack Trail, which so far, is farkin' amazing. Single ring up front means the ups are a bit of a killer, but the downs are amazing. Shall be going double & bash at some point.

The forks were looking a little tatty (although you can't really see that from the pics), so I've now replaced the decals with 2011 OEM versions in black and white from slik graphics.. a bit more subtle ;)
They now look like this, although the decals are now nice and straight ;)

Anyway, basic spec is:

2010 Marin Attack Trail, size M
RS Monarch 2.1 Shock, 150mm
2007 (I think) Fox 36 Van RC2, with 2011 decals
Juicy 3.5 brakes in funky purple, 203mm rotors
WTB Speedisc rims, marin hubs (20mm front, 12mm rear)
Deore cranks, e-13 front ring (40t)
Sram X7 mech/shifter
Thomson layback post
Wtb saddle
Marin and FSA finishing kit.
Crappy flats that work well ;)

Weight - lots. At a guess, about 30-33 lbs, yet to weigh it.

I love it, but do plan to gradually change a lot of the parts, once the wedding is over! It's not as shiny, new or pimped out as many bikes on here, but this is my bike. There are many bikes like it, but this one is min... ah, you get the idea ;)

Stav

Edit - just to say thanks to Bluechair84 and flybywire too.. I wouldn't be riding this if it weren't for you guys :)

    Thanks guys :)

Bennett - the brakes came as standard.. if anything, thats one part I plan to change at some point, had avids for too long now, fancy some formulas.

Peter - I agree, and the quad link not only looks nice (IMO), it works amazingly well too.

If you are looking for a set of brakes, i have just invested in the new Shimano SLX M666's and they are amazing. Great price aswell.

Thanks for the heads up Peter, I've been wanting some formulas for a while, but have heard nothing but good things about the shimano brakes, so may have to give them a go instead.

Getting married in December, so funds are tight, but ooo... ice tech rotors.... :)
