What is that on your bike for...

So there is a bike in the lockup here that has about eight 2 mm headset spacers, 4 either side of a bigger 1.5 inch thing (same width) that also has what looks like a bolt through a bulge that sticks out on one side of it - will take a pic later. Any idea people?

This is also sitting on a genesis day one and it frankly looks wrong.

Plus this thread is for people to ask questions of wtf someone has put on their bike :D

    Ahh, so it fits together the bit from the fork and another piece on top... Interesting. Single bolt not 2 but makes sense. Greg, it's certainly as ugly as frankenstein's monster...

    Couldn't be a clamp on cable guide? If it is then the side away from the single bolt would be pierced for a gear cable.
