Hi, I'd like to try the downhill tracks at the Forest of Dean at the weekend, I've never rode there before and would like to know how long the push-ups are to the top of you don't use the uplift?
Cheers
Lee

The push up inst too bad the first couple of times buts gets a bit much after that. I was there last weekend and managed to catch a couple of single trip uplifts at £2 each run but that will depend on if there are any spaces on each run, although a lot of uplift riders tend to spend a bit of time sessioning the top of corksrew + jump line so you may be lucky enough to get a couple of spaces on the bus.

having sais that, there is plenty to do at the top of the hill without losing too much height. The first half of corkscrew / flatlands / first half of sheepskull / jumpline and a couple of others all short sections that you can do oevr and over again for a while before you do any full runs to the bottom.
If you don't fall off you're not trying hard enough!
