Throat feels gummed, voice nearly gone, aerobic capacity decimated.

Come on, virus. Seriously? Is that the best you can do? Gonna have to work harder than that to bring this dog down.

Ride in was gorgeous if a tad chilly. About to complete some admin for the week before heading down and trying to exaplain to the Seniors what it is I do that benefits their business.

Despite having a brew before leaving the house this morning, I shall avail myself of a brief caffiene hit before moving on with the day.

    Onwards! To coffee, and contamination!

Yesterdays meh, was increased by the anger of missing half the F1 races because of money grabbing sky. So I decided to do something about it and I'm getting sky fitted on saturday.

Today is work, decent fast paced run (in prep for the Cheshire Triathlon) and then do some study

How much did it cost just for the F1 races? dont really watch much TV to justify getting it?

£30.25pm for sky HD or to ensure you watch the 10 races live it works out at £36.3 per race  I too don't watch much TV so the sky+ box will be great as the short period I do watch, I would hope there is something decent recorded now.
  • Morning homos.

Edison Frame went up on classifieds at about 11pm last night, I've already had an offer. To be fair, it is VERY cheap. Just waiting to hear back from Bionicon about the Reed before I agree to it though. Then it's a case of getting a reverb ordered, and some spanky new wheels and job's a good-un.
Then it's just the small issue of getting some fitness back and dropping 30lbs.
    Splendid.

    Morning bumders

2 meh lectures about horrible parasite things at uni today. Followed by some workings.

9 days to bikes. Annoyingly last night I got some bad news. We've gone from having 1 hockey match left to 3... the last one is next Wednesday away somewhere stupidly late so I won't be getting back to the bike home until Thursday around lunchtime/early afternoon. I'll then need to mend the bike so if I'm lucky I'll get a couple of hours riding in. Might order a new light tonight ready for some night riding.

p.s. yesterday I was introduced to a wonderful procrastination site it's annoyingly good sometimes.

    Morning Ballbags,

I've been doing a good impression of a one-armed bandit for the last day after my right shoulder muscle decided to stop working properly after Sundays DH fest. Nothing hurt or felt wrong on the day despite a few crashes, so why the feck does it take 24 hours to start making me look like a cripple?

Anyhow, today will be spent doing more ski trip arranging and sorting out a few odds n sods. Otherwise can't really be ar$ed to do much and can't go biking until i've got 2 working arms :-(

    Morning working losers!

Feck, I like getting up at whatever time I please I should become self employed. Hmmm

I'm off to Stainburn today to have a good mash around it and maybe session a few things. Really looking forward to it as it's gorgeous outside :D
Then later I'm off to see Hot Librarian, who is going to explain why she's been a bit crazy recently. It's nothing exciting apparently.... :? Might start digging a ditch, just in case...

    Moning all

I'm in a bit of a rut at the minute, work is dull and I have zero motivation but realistically I have to be here till mid June when I'm off for wedding and a 7 week honeymoon to Thailand. My problem is while I am massively excited about the honeymoon I am still waking up with the "is this my f@ckin life, I mean come on!"

I want to do something different, I want to open a bike shop, I want to open just any shop or a bar, something that consumes my enthusiasm, not saps it and shits it down the drain!

Anyway, off to do some boring things like spread sheets

I realize that this is crudcatcher and there is lots of good natured banter but I have recently been accused of not speaking up when I see something objectionable and hence a bit of a hypocrite. So despite my reluctance to be booed off the stage I have to say that honestly, I find jokes about rohypnol and date rape to be very poor taste. I imagine that cat did this to get a rise so you there you go - you win.

    And I'm not a commuter.

WTF have I missed with the commuters?! I gather somebody threw their starbucks out of their fixie pram?

Edit - screw it, deleted to keep the hippies happy. :(

    Morning bumders,

I sometimes feel as though I'm the only one in my company. At least it seems to be that way when work needs doing.. unsure? send it to Stav, he'll fix it.

Epic meh's being thrown around today. Still, Poland for beer, boobies and bullets this weekend.

So do I, I mean if your not man enough to do it while they're conscious you shouldn't be doing it! unless they are naturally sleeping, shout surprise and slip it in, then it's not even rape

    Edit - never mind.
  • Ahhh, so you chose to ignore the warning when you clicked through from the main page "Abandon all hope". You then chose to ignore the crudcatcher rules which clearly state:
Members should note that if they use the Crud Catcher, then they risk reading more adult themed chat, and should be aware of this if minors are using the forum. They also risk a level of flaming and posting designed to provoke a reaction. If you don't want this, then don't post.

Yet you STILL proceeded to click into a thread and be offended.

As we're now having this discussion in the Crudcatcher and not in the main, "discuss the website with the team" area. I feel it is my duty to point out you are a massive bellend. If you wish to have nice, polite off-topic conversation about flower arranging and what do you buy next, a Geo or a Prius, feel free to go post in the Hub.

    Jog-on.

I guess I should have known that Welcome to Tuesday would be offensive, eh cat? Any I didn't come to discuss anything other than Tuesday. I'm just expressing an opinion on something I read.

You made a joke about rohypnol. I said it was in poor taste. That's just my opinion, which I can state on this thread, right? For this, I get called a bellend? Would you prefer that I remain silent?

No it would be preferable if you stopped leaving wherever it is you normally lurk, and stop trying to ruin perfectly good threads in the rest of the forum. See any 'Day' thread and you will see a similar level of language. If you don't like it don't come in the Crudcatcher - the Hub may be more to your tastes. As CWNT has already stated you are warned before you enter the Crudcatcher and you are warned/informed again in the Crudcatcher Rules thread by Supersonic above.

    Totally agree.

I frequent the road forums for info and road biking stuff.

I also visit the crudcatcher. I know what to expect in the crudcatcher - lots of risque banter and p!ss taking. Very rarely is it anything other than that, everyone knows this, has a laugh and moves on.

If I open a door to a pub or bar and don't like the look of it I simply carry on walking to the next one. I don't walk in to the bar I don't like the look of, order a beer then slag the place off. I simply don't go in and leave those that are in to enjoy their evening in their (not my) type of bar.

Suggest people not liking the Crudcatcher do the same. if you don't like it sod off to the hundreds of other parts of this forum, enjoy them and leave this one to those that are happy here.

If that's ok with you of course?
