How to fit "Remote Lockout to the 'Marzocchi 44 RLO 2010'"; no instructions were supplied for this. And Marzocchi are completely unhelpful; in fact there customer service is a flipping disgrace! I sent them Emails 'NO REPLY', left Facebook messages, only got 1 reply "saying he will be back on Monday, with a response" THAT didn’t happen.

the lock out on the fork, looks like this :

  • Thats looking very much like the "old", inexpensive but effective, Suntour lock-out. Carefully "pry" off the plastic cap opposite the cable entry (see the "pry groove" on top?) But really careful though, plastic can be very unforgiving. You will probably then understand how it works. If you encounter too much resistance in "prying" stop and inform yourself. If in doubt then before starting have a look in the digital world for instructions but for the suntour remote.

  • Hows that? Cable(shift) and housing(brake) in the front door. Cable out the backdoor. Pull taut with lever in correct position and clamp down cable. Ask if something is not clear. Tip: don't cut short like they did in the bicycle factory: Click the Dustcover back into place with the remaining cable. There is a little groove in the dustcap for the cable exit. Lock out the fork and then shorten the cable, leaving enough cable outside of the dustcap that you can a) lock it out without jamming the endcap into the dustcap and b) if you would have to remove the fork for some reason you will perhaps have to trimm again to get it through the lockout fitting. You won't need 3" but you get my drift, eh?

hmm, I could make one; not sure I got the materials though.

Prob have to buy one on the net, and wait until it arrives before I can continue.
