Hi,

came to fit an old front mech onto my new second hand frame (Trek Fuel EX 9, 2008) and didn't fit. Just wondered what front mech do I need; size? Dual Pull? Direct mount?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

    Measure the tube.

Pull is referring to where the cable comes from. Dual works both.

Does it have direct mount mounts?

  • No it doesnt have direct mounts.

Looking at the sizing, why does it have in the options when buying an option for 31.8/34.9mm Dual Pull - 44T, then another option for 34.9mm Dual Pull - 44T ?

    Cheers

That's for the seat tube diameter. Measure yours by the instructions in the FAQ.
