Got his frame as a punt as it was cheap. Wanted something more burly than a specialized pitch which was starting to flinch at times.
This frame is a lot stiffer, a lot more composed on big hits, starting to realise how flexy the pitch was.
Suspension action is softer at the beginning, harder at the end. So more traction in the rough, though some pedaling efficiency has been lost, a lot more composed on big hits.
